Nav Aug Falls PA

Hi all! For those of you looking for some outdoor adventures, look no further. I went to Nav Aug Falls finally in PA on Sunday w my girl Sheri. We have been wanting to go for months, but waited till the day came with perfect weather. Funny enough, 2 weeks prior we drove halfway there and was pouring so we had to turn around. :/

Seriously, have nvr seen a more beautiful park in all my 24 yrs. Waterfalls galore, they had this HUGE water slide that was only 3 bux to go on (that we nvr made it to nxt time) this jungle platform bridge, and of course, the parks most hidden gem, the cliff jumping areas. I couldn't wait to 'dive' in of course as to the contrary of most, I find it easier then jumping mentally.

Met a lot of cool PA pp there, even tho Sheri wasnt too thrilled lol... Everyone was rly nice and friendly. Was pretty crowded, but at the same time, not overwheling. Take a look for urself at 1 of PAs best kept secrets. MUST VIST. 2 hrs from NYC/Jerz. werq.

1st Tri of 2010 Review: Flat as a Pancake Staten Island Sprint

Going into this race, I def had higher expectations based on the top 3 times last yr. I think this yr more than last yr, the avg swim time for the top woman were slower which was better for me since I am weaker in swimming myself... I started out in Wave 4 which is where most of the woman started, but I shoulda asked Joe permission to start in Wave 1. It woulda given me such a lead out of the water... uh, its alright though... When u know the race directors you have a lot of power and I didnt use my power this time lol.

So the distances were 1/4 swim, 12 bike, and 5k run. My org goal was under 10 for the swim, 30 flat for the bike, and under 21 for the run.

What I actually did was a little off... But I didnt leave this race w ANY regrets which is good. My swim was a little slow, but not too bad, bike was strong which I expected, and run was eh, high 21, wish I coulda broke 21 mins for the 5k this race.. I know I am capable of it, its all about how dizzy or nasiated I feel by the end of the race.

Bike course was potholicious so I had to slow myself down to avoid crashes which took a couple mins off my bike tt.
here are some photos from the racE:
